Now any sort of ideas or passion is filtered through 8 kinds of different daily polls and focus groups to come down to some talking points for the masses to digest in a headline. The fact that Richardson lost two states and had to drop out shows how much influence money has; it's not fair to potential candidates, and forget about any 3rd party attempts. @Emma Great point, forgot about that...he was the shoe in for a long time, and was actually one of my favorite ones. This whole damn thing has been going on for so long already. I'm already tired of it all and I've barely been paying attention so I can only imagine how tired the people who are closely watching this are. I'm sorry to see Richardson drop out already but the whole process is so dependent on $ and the media it was already a two person race before anyone voted in Iowa. At this point, I don't honestly care who ends up winning the Democratic nomination (FYI, Edwards is my Glassbooth match and the candidate I thought matched up with my opinions the best), I just hoe he or she picks a solid VP and that the Republicans don't fix the general election again.
